At nippers, eligible families can access their government-funded childcare entitlement completely free of charge
Funded Hours – Term Time Only
nippers offer funded childcare during the 38 funded weeks of the year. We do not stretch funded entitlement across 52 weeks of the year.
Government funding is intended to deliver the funded childcare hours. It is not intended to cover optional extras such as meals and snacks, child-specific consumables or additional activities and services.

Parents may choose to purchase these optional extras from nippers for convenience. They are entirely optional and are not a condition of accessing a funded place.
Parents who choose not to purchase optional extras can still access their child's funded childcare entitlement completely free of charge.
Where a parent chooses to opt out of an optional extra, reasonable alternatives will be available, including allowing parents to provide suitable meals in accordance with our food safety, allergy and packed-meal requirements, along with child-specific consumables where appropriate.
Children who do not participate in an optional additional activity or service will continue to receive appropriate provision in accordance with the EYFS.
