The Bambino Rooms
A Secure Beginning. A World to Explore.
Our Bambino Rooms provide nurturing, stimulating environments created especially for babies from birth to two years. Built around warm relationships, responsive care and purposeful play, they give our youngest children the security and confidence they need to begin exploring their world.
Every baby is unique. We work closely with families to understand individual routines, preferences, interests and needs. Feeding, sleeping, nappy changing and comforting are important opportunities for connection, communication and learning, with educators responding sensitively to each baby's cues.
Our Bambino curriculum combines in-the-moment teaching with a gentle, sequenced seasonal curriculum. Babies explore changing weather, nature, textures, sounds and colours through carefully introduced experiences alongside spontaneous play.
Days are filled with opportunities for sensory and messy play, songs and rhymes, books and stories, physical exploration and outdoor learning.
Learning also extends beyond the Bambino Rooms. Supported by familiar educators, babies gradually explore other areas of the nursery and regularly experience the world beyond our gates through walks, trips to the library, feeding the ducks and exploring local natural spaces.
Above all, our Bambino Rooms are built around relationships. We want every baby to feel safe, loved and understood, giving them the confidence to communicate, explore and discover.
